Personal Dashboard

Your home screen, your way.

The dashboard is the first thing you see when you open Globe. It's a personal grid you arrange yourself — drag widgets in, resize them, drop them where they make sense. Whatever you build syncs to every device you sign in on.

Available widgets

  • Active Trip
Jumps you straight into the trip closest to today, with a countdown and the next itinerary item.
  • Passport
Your traveller card — name, home base, languages, travel style, and a preview of recent stamps.
  • Friends
A live list of friends on Globe — see who's planning something or currently abroad.
  • Travel Stats
Countries visited, total days on the road, top continent, and a streak counter.
  • Bucket List
A rotating preview of the places you still want to go, with one-tap access to the full list.
  • Recent Memory
The last trip you wrapped, styled like a postcard — tap to relive the memory book.
  • Trip Invites
Pending invitations from friends, with a preview of the trip and a quick Accept / Decline.
  • Weather
Forecast for your current location plus the destination of your next trip.

Sizing & layout

Widgets come in three sizes — Small (1×1), Wide (2×1), and Tall (1×2). On phones the grid collapses to a single column; on tablet it's two columns; on desktop you get up to four. The layout you build on one device follows you everywhere.

Editing the grid

Long-press (or click the pencil icon top-right) to enter edit mode. Drag to reorder, pinch the corner to resize, tap the × to remove. Hit + to open the widget library and add anything you've removed.

Reset anytime
If your layout gets messy, the Settings → Dashboard menu has a 'Reset to default' option that puts everything back where Globe originally placed it.
Pro tips
  • Pin the Active Trip widget to the top — it auto-updates the day a new trip begins.
  • If you travel often, the Travel Stats widget makes a great year-end summary.
  • Hide widgets you don't use — they're always one tap away in the widget library.

Try Personal Dashboard on a real trip.

Globe brings everything your group needs into one shared space. Free forever.
