Every adventure starts here. Tap "Create a trip" from My Space or Quick Actions, or hit the "+". The Add-a-Trip panel has two tabs: Create one of your own, or Join someone else's. Either way, you're a few taps from being in.
Create your trip
Name the trip (that's the only must-have), then fill in as much as you want. Search a destination, set your dates, and give it a personality with a trip type and emoji.
- Name & destinationA name is required. Searching a destination is optional but handy.
- DatesSet an "earliest → latest" availability window during Gathering, or go straight to confirmed dates.
- Trip typePick from summer, winter, camping, adventure, sport, road trip, city, work, festival, or other.
- Invite as you goAdd friends, a saved group, or generate a share link right from the panel.
- Advanced optionsToggle anonymity for availability and budget if you'd rather keep those private.
Join someone else's trip
Got an invite? Switch to the Join tab, enter the invite code or open the invite link, and you'll see a trip preview before you commit. Like what you see? Join, and you're part of the crew.
Start from a place or a dream
You don't have to start from scratch. Use "Start a trip" to spin one up pre-filled from a place on your Travel List, or from a friend's dream. The destination and details come along for the ride.
- Only the name is required, so create first and flesh out dates and destination later.
- Use an "earliest → latest" window during Gathering when the dates aren't pinned down yet.
- Spotted a place you love on your Travel List? "Start a trip" pre-fills it for you.
