Trip Input

Your input, beside the group's.

Trip Input is where you tell the group what works for you. It's split into four cards: Availability, Budget, Dietary, and Accessibility & notes. Fill in your side, and Globe stacks it with everyone else's so the overlap is obvious. Once enough availability is in, the organiser confirms the dates and the trip moves to Planning.

The availability gridThe availability grid
Paint the days you're free; everyone's overlap stacks up.

Paint your free days

On the Availability card, mark the days you can travel on a shared calendar. Drag to select on web, or tap on native. Globe stacks everyone's days and shows a per-day "free together" count, then nudges you toward the windows that work for everyone. You can edit your availability all through Gathering; it locks once the dates are confirmed.

The budget cardThe budget card
Set a personal budget cap; everyone's caps show as bars.

Set one budget cap

On the Budget card, set your personal per-person spending cap, or leave it blank for "no cap". Everyone's caps show as bars, and the lowest cap becomes the ceiling the whole group plans under. A toggle hides your name if you'd rather keep your number anonymous.

  • Availability
Days you're free, stacked with a "free together" count per day. Editable during Gathering, locked after.
  • Budget
A single per-person cap, or blank for no cap. The lowest cap sets the group ceiling.
  • Dietary
Soft-select chips: Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-free, Halal, Dairy-free, Nut-free. The group view rolls up everyone's needs.
  • Accessibility & notes
Free-text access needs and general notes, and you can read everyone else's too.
The organiser can lock anonymity for everyone
Under Settings → Privacy, the organiser can force anonymous availability or anonymous budget for the whole trip. When that's on, names stay hidden no matter what your personal toggle says.
Pro tips
  • Mark every day you could travel, not just your ideal ones. More overlap means more windows that work for everyone.
  • Leave your budget blank if you genuinely have no cap; it keeps the group ceiling honest.
  • Add access needs early so they shape the plan from the start, not after it's set.
