Five quick steps take you from new account to ready to plan.

- WelcomeQuick "ways to start": create a trip, join with a code, or browse a shared schedule.
- About (required)Your name, a unique @username, home city, and travel style.
- Details (optional)Display name, bio, dietary needs, accessibility notes, and interests.
- CompanionMeet the Globe Companion help button and its quick actions.
Pick your @username
In the About step you'll claim a unique @username along with your name, home city, and travel style. It's how friends find and tag you, so choose something you'll recognise. This step is required, the rest you can flesh out whenever.
Meet your Companion
The last step introduces the Globe Companion, your in-app help button. Its quick actions point you toward common tasks, so whenever you're unsure what to do next, that's where to look.
- Let Globe auto-detect your language, then switch if it guessed wrong, it's the very first step.
- Only the About step is required, so skip Details for now and add your bio later.
- Lean on the Globe Companion button whenever you're not sure what to do next.
